BioHailing from a smallish town in the midwest, I first made my way to this big city at the ripe old age of 18. After a year of school, I left to find myself. I looked back in Indy and I looked in Chicago. It took a couple years to realize that my heart was still in the big city. I came back in January of 2005 and kissed my old life behind to go to acting school.
Fast forward 16 months and I had a degree in Acting from a conservatory here in the city and very little desire to actually fight the crowd to pursue the stage. Now I'm studying public affairs and plan to go to law school. I miss acting more than anything in the world, but the whole situation is a catch-22 so for now, my focus is elsewhere.
I want to go to Africa with the PeaceCorps. I want to go to a great law school. I want to teach people and make the world a better place. Despite all that, there are definitely weekends that I just want to order chinese food and watch movies all weekend. I'm an old soul who struggles to act my age. I think I was 30 when I was born.
I love my friends, my family, and my life--most of the time.
